My zipper was broke and there was a few spots of fraying from the Velcro. I think they make a decision to fix, replace or refund you depending on what’s wrong.

I’ve taken TNF up on warranty many times. They’re not big on repairs, and their inventory situation isn’t always great, so they’re likely to give you a significant upgrade to make you happy.
They’re also willing to give you a credit for anything you want. I sent my backpack in due to liner failure between two compartments.
Used the warranty form, sent it out via work, and got it back fixed in about weeks.
