Did the jacket fit my expectations? Yes it did.
But in my opinion, this jacket is the perfect jacket to wear on top of a sweatshirt. This is not a jacket to face the winter weather with alone.
If you wear a tshirt underneath it and expect it to keep you warm it will not. The material i think is great, and a North Face will always be a good jacket but just know that this jacket is not a lone ranger.
It needs insulation underneath.

It is a beautiful muted brown with “oatmeal” colored fleece. It is really soft and seems like it is really warm.

However it sheds fuzzies all over everything you wear under it. I have already washed and dried it using the washing instructions on the tag, but it is still shedding as much as it was before.
This is very dissappointing, and I will probably return it because of this. I was really looking forward to wearing the Denali this winter. What a dissappointment!!

I don’t like to carry around a purse so I really need all the pockets I can get. So that my keys don’t fall out accidentally when pulling out my wallet and likewise for my phone.
I would have liked to have four pockets so that I could put extra things such as kleenex in that pocket. I’m going to buy the men’s jacket instead.
Also unlike some fleeces there aren’t extra pockets inside because the outer pocket is sewn into the jacket. I really wish companies would stop making better quality things for guys but charging women the same price for our lesser quality things.
I purchased it for my oldest daughter heading to college thinking a warmer jacket would be a must where she’s going.
This fits the bill. It’s light, but super warm. My youngest daughter has the same one and it has held up wash after wash for several seasons now.
My middle daughter has the lighter, but toasty brown Osito fleece. Also nice!

The only problem we had was that we followed the size chart, but the small was still too big. We then exchanged for the XS and it’s perfect. Kudos to NF for making the return and exchange super easy!

The fit is nice.
I am quite large in the chest and the large fit fine. I feel as though this runs a little big in the shoulder area.
I am in between sizes at the moment so a medium is to small and a large is slightly to big. Customer service is amazing. I bought this when they had the free overnight shipping.
Super Warm!
I bought my teenage daughter this jacket for Christmas. Prior to receiving the jacket, I thought it was pretty expensive for a “fleece jacket”.
Well, this is no ordinary fleece jacket!! When i put it on, it was almost as if I had put on a heated, fitted blanket – super warm, perfect proportions, no air drafts – it was fabulous!
I told my family that I want one for Christmas next year! Now I know why I see everyone wearing these jackets – they are the perfect jacket!
This jacket does both! I ordered the 3XL online and was worried it would be too tight, but it fits great! It’s roomy enough to wear a sweatshirt underneath it and isn’t snug at all.
I’m also 5’10 and the sleeves and length are perfect. I will definitely be recommending this! The quality is great, but I would expect nothing less from North Face.

I’m a big girl and can’t stand things too snug and I’m also tall and have a hard time getting sleeves long enough so I ordered a size larger than I wear in other brands.
It fits, but it’s not at all as loose as I expected. I also miss the narrower cuffs with the little loop for attaching to another jacket.
But the polartec fleece is the same and that’s the most important part of this jacket. I’m sure that this Denali II will give me years of wear just as the original did.
